ROCK CLIMBING IN SÖLDEN AND ÖTZTAL
MADE TO BE CLIMBED
The region around Sölden and the entire Ötztal are made for trying out vertical granite walls and via ferratas with different levels of difficulty. Ötztal has 19 climbing crags, 2 of which are in Sölden. There are 8 via ferratas. The Moosalm one in Sölden is a medium-difficulty one. It’s short and ideal for beginners. With its comparatively few footholds and many ladders, it is considered a practice via ferrata.
The climbing crag in the Moosalm area is also rather easy and super fun for families. The crag at Freizeit Arena is for experienced climbers.
